The New York rapper was arrested in Coweta County, Georgia, this week on charges of drug and gun possession.
Jones, 41, was a passenger in a vehicle that led police on a chase instead of pulling over, according to TMZ. During the chase, the car struck a deputy’s vehicle and then stopped.
Police searched the vehicle that Jones and three other passengers were in and allegedly discovered marijuana, oxycodone, Percocet, vape cartridges, THC oil, two loaded pistols and cash. One of the guns found was reportedly stolen.
Jones and the other passengers denied possession of the items, but the “We Fly High” rapper said he had a prescription for the oxycodone and Percocet.
Page Six confirmed that police charged Jones for three felonies: possession of the stolen gun, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime and possession of narcotics.
The “Harlem” rapper was also charged with a misdemeanor for the prescription pills not being in their original container.
Jones was released on $7,000 bail.
